WORD UP: A CELEBRATION OF MIDDLE SCHOOL POETRY
Renowned poets will visit 8th grade classes at the Montauk School and East Hampton Middle School to read from their works, to critique student poetry, and to introduce the idea of poetic creativity with students. Poetry workshops culminate in a live poetry event titled Word Up, which takes place in May.
